HSE TECHNICIAN (m/f) (Esposende)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Identify risks in the activities performed and in the equipment, substances, and products used;

Eliminate or reduce exposure to risks at the source to increase protection levels;

Prepare and disseminate clear and appropriate instructions related to the worker’s tasks;

Keep workers informed about the health and safety manual and ensure compliance with its specifications;

Ensure that facilities (factory and construction sites) are in good order and condition;

Ensure safe access, movement, and circulation in all work areas;

Ensure the safe handling of materials and operation of work equipment;

Regularly inspect and ensure the maintenance of facilities and equipment;

Provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensure they are in good condition, and inform workers about the risks they are intended to protect against;

Conduct workplace inspections, prepare reports, and identify non-conformities and corresponding corrective actions;

Perform and support other tasks related to the department’s activities within the scope of the role;

Manage waste;

Inform and train employees.
